For one evening Hans van Houwelingen occupies the stage of De Balie. On the basis of his film Hey Paarth, what about the atom bomb? he discusses the relationship between art, ideology and politics with writer Ian Buruma, Hindoe priest Bikram Lalbahadoersing en Indo specialist Victor van Bijlert.

De Bijlmer celebrates its 50th birthday. The exhibition Ode aan de Bijlmer gathers the work of 11 artist that reflect on the urban concept, realisation and current restructuring. Van Houwelingen shows his proposal for a Monument for the Bijlmer.
